In a “youth only” locked room and for nearly two hours, David Copperfield, his right hand man Chris Kenner answered questions and gave advice to the over 60 young magicians attending the conference.
No question was off limits. “How can I intergrate my favorite music to my magic tricks?” “Has anything gone wrong in your show?” “How can I perform magic when I am about to go to college?” This trio answered it all.
After the Q & A, Mr Copperfield went around to each 10 seat table and signed souvenirs, took pictures and continued to answer the kids. Also in attendance was David’s son who also asked questions. Will his son join the SYM someday? Time will tell.

Wish I could have made it. I hate that I had to miss out on that event.
It would be AWESOME in David’s son joined the SYM. Of course for that to happen we would need a S.Y.M. Assembly in Las Vegas which means we should also have an active
S.A.M. Assembly. Come on magicians of Las Vegas…let’s start an assembly! Let’s do this for the future of magic! Let’s do this for David’s son! ;o)
I grew up with David and have been to two of his shows in my lifetime. The first show was for my birthday in my 30′s and the second was only two years ago and I went to his show in Las Vegas where he threw out some big balls into the audience and somehow I caught one and I got to go onstage with him and help him disappear a bunch of audience members.. Something I will never forget. He is awesome!
