Disney World Magician a Treasure

Magical Disney World has a hidden magical treasure in the name of Mick Ayres. As M-U-M editor writes in his editor’s column:

“Our cover subject this month is a man with whom you may be unfamiliar: Mick Ayres. Mick has a dream gig; as a performer in residence at the Walt Disney Resort at Hilton Head, he has theopportunity to utilize all his talents – magician, musician, and story-teller. As you’ll learn in the cover story by regular contributor Christian Painter, Mick is a proponent of careful scripting; his mastery of this important aspect of magic can be seen in the way that he draws in his audience without ever breaking character. Mick has generously offered two of his scripts, which you’ll find at the end of the profile on him.”

I just want to let everyone know what a wonderful person Mick Ayres is. He is amazingly creative and generous to other magicians in his publishing, and teaching. His “character” at Disney allows his character to peak out from the old captain. He is enchanting in song, music, and magic. If you can get to see him, you will learn about performance, character, and creativity….and he will reach through your walls and touch your heart. Peace…Fred (Reisz)

I agree with Fred Reisz on saying what a terrific guy Mick Ayres is. I am a member of ring 349 and so is Mick. He is always entertaing with his magic and the fantastic tricks he does. he is also always willing to help out a fellow magician by explaining a trick or showing how to improve the trick. Mick is a genius and one fantastic man. May God bless him and help him to provide many more years of magic.
