The opening of the exhibit was great success with well over 100 in attendance. The attendees enjoyed a magic show and the exhibits including a Thurston sawing, Houdini cuffs, leg-irons and key display, E. Cooper Taylor suspension, Merv Taylor items, Floyd Thayer items, posters, gowns of famous women in magic and a wide variety of other magical items.
The exhibit will be on display through July, 2013, and should be seen by all magiciams.

    John,

Thank you for your report. It sounded like a true GRAND OPENING for this historic exhibit.

As a student of magic history, I am sure that I am not the only member that would love to see pictures and an article about the exhibit in either M-U-M or online? Are there any plans for covering the exhibit in this manner?

    Hi Eric,
We are working with Mike Close and Stan Allen for coverage in MUM and MAGIC.
    John
